Cookie Policy

PackMize does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. Essential session cookies are used only where they are technically necessary.

Public calculators

Anonymous use of the public calculators does not require a PackMize authentication cookie. PackMize's first-party usage analytics does not use an analytics cookie or advertising identifier. A temporary sessionStorage flag may remember that the PWA install prompt was dismissed during the current browser session; it is not used for cross-site or behavioral tracking.

Account and workspace session

Registration, sign-in, password recovery, Google sign-in state protection and authenticated workspace functions use the strictly necessary session cookie PMSESSID. It is a session cookie used for CSRF protection, authentication, account security and private workspace continuity. It is configured as HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax and, when served over HTTPS, Secure. It is not used for advertising or behavioral profiling.

If you choose Sign in with Google, your browser is redirected to Google. Google may use cookies on its own domains as part of the authentication process. PackMize does not use those Google-domain cookies for advertising or first-party analytics.

Protected administration session

The private administration/analytics area uses a separate strictly necessary session cookie, PACKMIZE_ANALYTICS, after an administrator accesses the protected area. It maintains administrator authentication and security, is configured as HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict and, when served over HTTPS, Secure. It is not used to track public users.

Consent

PackMize currently uses only the technical storage described above for authentication, security and interface functions requested by the user or administrator. PackMize therefore does not ask for consent to advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies because those technologies are not enabled. If PackMize later introduces non-essential cookies or similar technologies, the information and consent mechanism will be updated before they are enabled.
