Why packing geometry matters
Volume is only an upper bound. Rectangular items can leave unusable voids because side lengths, orientation, payload and stack height constrain the arrangement. PackMize therefore calculates actual placements for the supported V1 problems.
Planned derived tools
CBM, dimensional weight, TI-HI, boxes-per-container and related tools can be added later without creating separate mathematical engines. The initial priority is keeping the core packing logic accurate and maintainable.
