Container loading guide

CBM is not the final answer

Container volume is useful for a quick upper bound, but cartons must still tile the internal length, width and height. Door dimensions and payload can reduce capacity further.

20 ft, 40 ft and High Cube

High Cube equipment mainly adds internal height. Whether that creates another useful carton layer depends on the carton height and allowed rotations.

Use actual equipment when possible

Internal dimensions vary slightly. For operational planning, use the dimensions from the actual carrier or container specification rather than relying only on a generic preset.
